Excessive Velocity

The growth in the use of electrical power has been possible because of the continual research and development carried out over the decades. From the early beginnings, great emphasis was placed on such things as developing insulating materials, cable strand formations, and shieldings for conductors. Also, materials were developed for sheaths, such as lead, aluminum and plastic, and methods of armouring.

To keep pace with changing conditions, requirements and new applications, and to take advantage of new developments in methods, materials, processes and design, medium-voltage cables are undergoing continuous scrutiny. The electrical cable industry, continues to strive for greater reliability and efficiency of electrical systems to meet the demands of today's world.

Today, everyone is concerned about protecting the environment and the electrical industry is certainly no exception. The entire design, manufacture and installation of medium-voltage distribution systems has a modern term in its vocabulary … environmentally-friendly cables.
